Our Story | የእኛ ታሪክ
HaHu Fidel Center was born from a shared vision within the Ethiopian diaspora community in Los Angeles. We recognized the growing need for a dedicated space where our children could connect with their rich cultural heritage while building meaningful relationships with other Ethiopian families.
Every weekend, our center comes alive with the joyful sounds of children learning Amharic, discovering Ethiopian history, and forming friendships that transcend generations. We’ve created more than just a learning center—we’ve built a home away from home where traditions are preserved, identities are strengthened, and community bonds are forged.

Our Mission | ተልዕኮአችን
At HaHu Fidel Center, our mission is to preserve and celebrate Ethiopian heritage by creating a joyful, inclusive space where children and families come together to learn, connect, and grow. በሀሁ ፊደል ማእከል ተልዕኮችን ኢትዮጵያዊ ቅርስ ለመጠበቅ እና ለማክበር፣ ሕጻናት እና ቤተሰቦች አንድ ላይ በመሆን እንዲማሩ፣ እንዲተሳሰሩ እና እንዲያድጉ የሚያስችል ደስታን የሚያሰማ፣ ሁሉን አቀፍ ስፍራ መፍጠር ነው።

We envision a future where every Ethiopian child in the diaspora grows up with confidence in their identity, fluent in their mother tongue, and deeply connected to their roots. Our vision extends beyond language lessons—we aspire to create a sustainable model of cultural education that can be replicated in diaspora communities worldwide. የሀሁ ፊደል ማእከል ራእይ ኢትዮጵያዊ ቋንቋ፣ ታሪክ እና ባህል ለመጪው ትውልድ የሚያምርበት ማእከል መገንባት ነው። እያንዳንዱ ኢትዮጵያዊ ልጅ በዳያስፖራ ውስጥ አማርኛ በኩራት እንዲናገር፣ ታሪኩን እንዲረዳ እና ከሥሮቹ ጋር ጥንታዊ ግንኙነት እንዲኖረው እንፈልጋለን።
